I was very anxious when I opened this bundle and found the wrappers on the first three cigars I removed extremely dry and brittle. These three were located closest to the packaging seam.
To my relief, the wrappers of the remaining 22 cigars were silky and supple, so I’m guessing this was a packaging QC issue I hope to never see again on future orders.
These are excellent cigars and would have received a five star rating from me had the first three I removed been in the same condition as the rest.
If you enjoy a full-bodied and well-crafted maduro that lasts, this cigar is for you. I found it very similar in taste, construction and aesthetics to Horacio maduros I’ve had in the past.
